History of C Language History of C language  is interesting to know. Here we are going to discuss a brief history of the c language. C programming language  was developed in 1972 by Dennis Ritchie at bell laboratories of AT&T (American Telephone & Telegraph), located in the U.S.A. Dennis Ritchie  is known as the  founder of the c language . It was developed to overcome the problems of previous languages such as B, BCPL, etc. Initially, C language was developed to be used in  UNIX operating system . It inherits many features of previous languages such as B and BCPL.

Java  is an  object-oriented programming  language developed by James Gosling and colleagues at Sun Microsystems in the early 1990s. Python History and Versions Python laid its foundation in the late 1980s. The implementation of Python was started in the December 1989 by  Guido Van Rossum  at CWI in Netherland. In February 1991, van Rossum published the code (labeled version 0.9.0) to alt.sources. In 1994, Python 1.0 was released with new features like: lambda, map, filter, and reduce. Python 2.0 added new features like: list comprehensions, garbage collection system. On December 3, 2008, Python 3.0 (also called "Py3K") was released. It was designed to rectify fundamental flaw of the language. ABC programming language  is said to be the predecessor of Python language which was capable of Exception Handling and interfacing with Amoeba Operating System. C is a high-level structured oriented programming language, used in general purpose programming, developed by Dennis Ritchie at AT&T Bell Labs, the USA between 1969 and 1973. SOME FACTS ABOUT C PROGRAMMING LANGUAGE:       In  1988 , the   American National Standards Institute                (ANSI)   had formalized the C language.
