SAP History and Evolution- The acronym SAP stands for System, applications and products in data processing services. SAP is the ownership product of the German Company SAP AG. Five ex IBM workers found SAP and the names of the employees were Dietmar Hopp, Klaus Tschira, Hans-Werner Hector, Hasso Plattner and Claus Wellenreuther.    The company was started as a private partnership under the German System in  1972 . ABAP Overview The Advanced Business Application Programming / 4GL (ABAP/4, commonly referred to as ABAP) is SAP’s proprietary language. More than 80% of SAP R/3 is developed using ABAP. The ABAP Program code is “generated” into Byte-code at the time of Activation of the program and is processed by the ABAP Processor which is part of the Kernel and Basis Services (a set of core programs developed in C) at the time of execution. Any ABAP Program, because it requires the BASIS modules, can run only within an SAP environment. Many features of the programming language and ABAP editor environment resemble the COBOL / IBM Mainframe environment although much of it has been scaled down somewhat to give the language a modern look. History of C Language History of C language  is interesting to know. Here we are going to discuss a brief history of the c language. C programming language  was developed in 1972 by Dennis Ritchie at bell laboratories of AT&T (American Telephone & Telegraph), located in the U.S.A. Dennis Ritchie  is known as the  founder of the c language . In February 1991, van Rossum published the code (labeled version 0.9.0) to alt.sources. In 1994, Python 1.0 was released with new features like: lambda, map, filter, and reduce. Python 2.0 added new features like: list comprehensions, garbage collection system. On December 3, 2008, Python 3.0 (also called "Py3K") was released. It was designed to rectify fundamental flaw of the language. ABC programming language  is said to be the predecessor of Python language which was capable of Exception Handling and interfacing with Amoeba Operating System. C is a high-level structured oriented programming language, used in general purpose programming, developed by Dennis Ritchie at AT&T Bell Labs, the USA between 1969 and 1973.
